Worked as a system administrator at C3SE (Chalmers Centre for Computational Science and Engineering) in a computing environment for scientific high performance computing (HPC). Working in a small group of people with large systems and many users meant a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities. Installing, configuring and testing new HPC clusters, storage solutions. Troubleshooting and repairs. Software installations and user support. From 2012 I worked half time as a developer of a national web portal to handle users/projects, project proposals, statistics etc for administrators and end users of HPC resources in Sweden. Worked in a project to set up a national cloud computing resource. Prior to that project a pilot study was made to investigate and evaluate different cloud middleware.
