  This role involved managing the incoming and outgoing shipping needs for Salesforce's London office, as well as handling international customs queries and creating a standardized procedural manuals for shipping and customs across EMEA. My day-to-day operations included managing a small team in logging all incoming packages onto our internal system and coordinating receipt by our employees, as well as booking any outgoing shipments including the completion of commercial invoices as needed. I also handled any customs issues that arise for employees in the London office, and liaise with the wider EMEA team to address any problems they may have, and increase understanding of customs regulations and requirements when shipping internationally. I organised any dangerous goods shipments and advise other offices on specific requirements regarding items that need special care. I have received a distinction from the UK Customs Academy in their Level 4 Certificate in Advanced Customs Compliance, qualified with IATA for shipment of dangerous goods, and have received my Certificate of Customs Competency with CILT.
