Establish a new reduced maintenance leadership team structure and mentor mechanical team leaders to allow them to grow in their ability to use problem solving techniques and positive encouragement to steadily increase maintenance productivity while continually reduce the Mechanical OSHA incident rate. Plan, schedule and coordinated all minor and major outages to including insuring materials, contractors and mill resources are ready and in place to insure completion of all outages on time. Implement a new safety culture that reduced the accident incident rate during all outages to zero for millwrights for 3 years running. Implemented a co-operation initiative to have Production, Electrical and Maintenance work as team members during problem solving and daily operation of their assigned facilities.
