Work as a water resources engineer involved in both municipal design and planning projects. Am part of teams involved in the design of water and wastewater facilities. Data collection and management, engineering calculations, project coordination, and the utilization of software tools are a daily requirement. Work included introducing and helping students become familiar with computer software in hydraulic applications. Worked as an engineering technician and coordinating with water operations and engineering to calibrate outflow devices under different flow conditions. Work included the development of rating curves and programming of sensors, general canal surveying and multiple flow measurement techniques. The SonTek River Surveyor and FlowTracker were among the equipment used in gathering flow data. Involved in development of maintenance programs such as herbicide and aquatic weed abatement.
