Danny has really excelled and developed into a great leader of people within a couple of very challenging roles since joining the Automotive industry. He is a great listener and positively uses any relevant feedback to develop his own skills and that of his team. In a relatively short space of time he has really got to grips with understanding how to get the best out of his teams in some very complex areas and motivating them to being consistently high achievers. I am confident that Danny’s personal career aspirations will ensure that he continues to move up the ladder during the next couple of years. A real pleasure in knowing him, watching him develop and hopefully playing a small part in his success both now and in the future.

I had the pleasure of Danny inducting me into my role at CSEF ( Children's Safety Education Foundation ) and I could not have asked for better grounding. His passion and understanding of the 3rd sector and B2B was exceptional and during my time I witnessed Danny demonstrate, train and manage 100’s of individuals to the highest standard. When I look back on my career, Danny is certainly somebody who I passionately feel helped set me on my way, a great mentor and I can’t thank him enough.

Responsible for £1.6 Million of essential funding ensuring the continuation of expert care for more than 1,000 local people with life-limiting illness each year. During my tenure I restructured a previously un-managed fundraising department introducing key objectives and KPI's to all fundraising staff, I also managed the Marketing Team and all hospice calendar events including the running of the weekly hospice lottery. Top achievements: • Project managed and supported the development of the new website (Designed by Labrow) the new central hub of communication for the hospice. The core reason for the new website was to reach out and engage more strongly with the local community. • Established social media profiles on Twitter and Facebook – linked to the new hospice website, this attracted a new online audience which now attracts thousands of followers. • Re-branded the hospice lottery bringing a more modern approach which appealed to a younger audience and ensured we could compete with the growing competition such as the Postcode Lottery & National Lottery. (Generating circa £700,000 pa) • Developed dedicated community support groups - a first in years for the hospice. Recruited outstanding group leaders to maintain and deliver incremental ongoing funding. • Initiated the schools awareness campaign utilising my knowledge of working in schools nationally in my previous role working with the Emergency Services. The core element to deliver Assembly presentations which promoted an A to Z fundraising challenge. This process became more financially beneficial to the hospice (circa £750 per school PA). The previous concept was selling soft toys (Circa £150 per school PA). With circa 105 schools the incremental potential oppotunity became £80,000. • Established the annual "The Big Give" - a brand new calendar fundraiser that generates circa £30k in just 3 days utilising an online social media approach linked through the new website.
