Placement Student within the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation service at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. Assisted in delivering a safe and effective service and guiding a range of cardiac patients through their exercise prescription. Also undertook a range of clinical observations such as: accurate manual blood pressure measurement, manual heart rate measurement, correct use of pulse oximetry, and accurate recording of a range of anthropometric measures such as height, weight and waist measurement.Additionally produced a case study investigating ‘The Impact of Waiting Times in Cardiac Rehabilitation and its Effect on Outcome Measures’.
