Daniel is an exceptionally kind and thoughtful person. I worked with Daniel at comparethemarket where he was a senior delivery manager & the direct line manager I reported to. I can't overstate his management and leadership skills, especially during a pandemic lockdown where the team were working remotely. Over the last year, he's also adviced and mentored me which I will forever be thankful for. Good managers are hard to come by, and Daniel will be an asset to any organisation, team or employee.

Danny is great at building happy, confident and productive high-performing teams. When he stepped into his current role the team was in need of some confidence building and trust. He very quickly establish this through a lot of emotional and physical support to the team and found ways to empower them by taking more ownership for work and challenging them. He builds confidence in stakeholders and trust in those he supports. At the same time, he took onboard a challenging project mid-way though delivery and was quickly able to provide a full review of the challenges and build a confident and robust deliver plan that saw the team velocity improve and the sprint goals be met. The end result was a project delivered on time with great customer and team satisfaction. He build on this positivity by tackling a challenging re-platforming task which again set out clear project milestones, expected velocity and scope. The project met all of its predict goals and milestones at every point and was a huge success whilst also stretching and empowering the team to do great work. In addition to all of this, Danny reinvigorated the compare the market promotion process by making it a democratic and transparent panel process. Satisfaction in our promotion process has been greatly increased as has the quality of promotion submissions.
