  Worked under University of Guelph Professor Elizabeth Mandeville in the Mandeville lab, researching the human impact on the hybridization of fish species.Performed DNA extractions on several fish species, followed by library preparation of concentrated DNA for sequencing. Interpreted and assigned sequenced data for individual fish and aligned reads to an artificial reference genome created with CD-HIT.Created visual representations of entropy across sampling locations which varied in human impact.
