This role involved analysing and extracting data for some of the world’s largest companies, including: Unilever, Nestle, Kimberly-Clark, and Stryker. This is achieved by creating Visual Ontologies, using a combination of OCR (Optical Character Recognition) and Cache ObjectScript. I learned a lot during my time with OmPrompt, and genuinely enjoyed working with everyone there. In this role, I was responsible for analysing and updating the databases of three different companies belonging to the Unitex group. These databases are part of an ERP system which provides: stock control, manufacturing, sales, accounts, and payroll. This involved working as part of a team and dealing with people ranging from the CEO to shop floor operatives. I enjoyed this role immensely and gave my best each day. This demanding and goal driven role required me to utilise my fast, accurate typing skills to help Royal Mail clear mail which could not be read by scanners at their numerous sorting centres across the UK. After training, I was able to process 1000 pieces of mail per hour, achieving 100% accuracy. I very much enjoyed this job and was sad to see it end.
