As a Data Engineer, my role focuses on various responsibilities related to data management and transformation: Data Migrations: I carry out tasks related to the data migration process between different informational systems. This involves data extraction, transformation, and loading from one platform to another while maintaining data integrity and consistency. Data Transformation with Informatica BDM: I utilize Informatica BDM to create Workflows (WFs) and mappings that enable the proper ingestion of data into various databases. This work includes defining the transformation logic necessary to align the data with business requirements. Monitoring and Supervision: I use IBM Workload Scheduler to monitor and manage workflows and task execution. I continuously track task statuses, identify issues, and resolve them as needed. I also have experience in creating, modifying, and removing workgroups and managing their dependencies. Extractions, Validations, and Logic Changes: I address client (banking entity) requests for specific data extractions and perform validations to ensure data quality and accuracy.
