I had the pleasure of working with Dan Peacock for over eight years at the Madison Square Garden Company. Initially Dan was my direct manager and later the head of my department. Dan is the kind of manager to which you want to report and aspire to be to your own staff. He is intelligent, honest, kind, considerate, and an advocate for his team. His door is always open should you have a question or an issue to be addressed. Dan gives his staff the opportunity to develop their skill sets and advance in their own careers. He consistently motivates his staff to reach their deadlines/goals. He is very knowledgeable about the sports and entertainment industries and finance and accounting specifically. He is equally adept at managing up and down. Any organization would be lucky to have Dan Peacock as a leader on their team.

Dan is a terrific combination of talent, smarts, hard work - and collegiality. When I was developing Columbia University's Master of Science Program in Sports Management, a chance introduction to Dan led to his spearheading the development of an entire study sequence, which Dan later taught for a number of years. He was a perennial standout among the faculty - a pleasure to work with and someone whom the students admired as professor, mentor, and industry leader. Dan is truly one-of-a-kind.

Emursive Productions is the producer of the popular NYC theatrical immersive experience Sleep No More at The McKittrick Hotel, which is also home to the Gallow Green restaurant, Manderley Bar, and The Club Car. ==================== As its first CFO, I created the company’s finance and accounting infrastructure to fortify its post-Covid relaunch and set the foundation for helping the company scale through expansion into new initiatives. My key efforts include building and developing the finance and accounting team, establishing policies and processes, and working side-by-side with the leadership team to deliver managerial reporting that strengthened business decision-making. I put in place critical organizational assets required for scaling and long-term success such as a harmonized chart of accounts across multiple LLCs and an organizational chart with reporting relationships and compensation model. I completed cost and revenue optimization projects including variable and dynamic ticket pricing. Show less
