Jan 2008 - Jan 2022
In 2008, I created original syllabus, assignments, and weekly readings for graduate-level course titled “Art Librarianship in Theory and Practice." Initially taught annually, it is now offered on a rotating schedule. For the 2021 iteration of the course, I taught in-person, but integrated a synchronous learning component using Zoom. Duties include: • instructing and grade all assignments, essays, and presentations • teaching using a theoretical framework that allows students to understand how visual studies impacts library services in creative research for art and design • exploring issues of peer-review, artistic freedom, censorship, and intellectual property in relation to their impact on creative and intellectual production • facilitating learning management system through Quercus (formerly Blackboard and Sakai) by posting all lecture presentations, asynchronous recordings, monitoring chat room discussions, and coordinating forum entries
