While teaching at Fleming College, I was fortunate enough to teach a variety of courses. Teaching at Fleming developed my legal research in different areas of law in a short period of time, which was necessary to ensure students learned aspects of the law required for clerking positions. IT Helpzone Assistant
-
Aug 2013 - Dec 2014
As a Help Zone Assistant I work primarily in the David Wilson Library at the University of Leicester providing assistance with a range of IT queries. These can range from Wi-Fi connection issues to printing errors to submission errors. This role is extremely varied and involves communicating with students from all over the globe as well as enhancing problem solving skills. It also requires a determined attitude. I have developed significant confidence in using my communication skills, due to the necessity to identify problems and discuss issues with a range of students. I have also greatly improved my confidence with problem solving as this has proved necessary to diagnose and report relevant problems. Show less
