The Corporate Services Skill Centre provides all business, finance, administrative, human resources, IT, Governance, and secretarial support to the organisation. What do i do: *Ensure processes are in place to continuously review organisational requirements with respect operational effectiveness, e.g. Information Technology, enterprise system etc, and lead on procurement, distribution, maintenance and retrieval of hardware and software solutions to support business as usual and solve complex business challenges *Take responsibility for the operation and delivery of formal corporate contracts for the supply and maintenance of our enterprise products and services such as our IT cloud services, Office 365 environment, Playbook, Accelo. *Proactively manage the portfolio of NHS and partner contracts across the organisation, including activities such as contract negotiation, commissioning, information governance, and finance to ensure the implications of commissioning decisions are appropriately reflected in contracts and agreements. What does this really mean: I look after people, by ensuring they have the right tools available (hardware, software, training, systems, policies, processes etc) to do their job as best as possible. In order to provide this, I support and manage a small but high performing team. I'm apart of the senior management team and various other governance groups, so I get to have input into major decisions that effect the organisation and often present ideas in order to improve our way of working. On a day to day basis, I might be creating a PowerApp, working on automation, developing a new policy (risk management, business continuity), hosting a Q&A on our project management tool, liaising with our managed service providers or helping people become accustomed with our new office. It's a varied job! Show less

I manage a remote team of 25 wellbeing managers and staff based across the UK who deliver physical and mental health solutions to those seeking employment. I have overseen the recruitment process including the creation of job descriptions, performance management framework and review process. Leading by example, I engage my team in Reed Wellbeing’s vision and values. I also identify skills and knowledge gaps and support delivery of appropriate and timely development interventions. I effectively promote and manage contracts through planning, co-ordinating and monitoring of performance, quality and cost effectiveness of all elements of the service provision. By conducting weekly team meetings to review and discuss performance achievement, I identify areas for improvement, share best practice and develop capability of the team. I ensure close management of profit and loss, forecasting, and cost control to achieve budgeted profit margins and contribution. I proactively seek to grow the Reed Wellbeing business, by building and maintaining effective stakeholder relationships with local commissioning bodies, referral organisations and local complimentary services. By doing so, I have identified opportunities for business growth to feed into Reed Wellbeing strategic growth plan. I regularly prepare written materials (correspondence, budgets, activity plans, quarterly and annual reports) for external and internal stakeholders. I oversee the continuous improvement at the team level and contribution at organisational level. In doing so, I ensure the team is committed to the company’s quality standards, data protection, health & safety, diversity and safeguarding policies and procedures and that this is reflected at all stages of programme planning, delivery and evaluation.

This involved managing the design and implementation of service streams, ensuring that such services meet commissioner performance expectations and are delivered within agreed budget. I led on strategic partnership development with the view of gaining new business and enhancing the productivity of existing stakeholder relationships, such as commissioners, CCG, councillors, third sector and private businesses. This included developing mutual beneficial relationships with employment organisations, such as Ingeus and corporate clients, to provide wellbeing services for their clients (health checks, weight management, smoking cessation). I had the responsibility for supply chain management, which included conducting periodic performance reviews to measure achievement and identifying areas for improvement. Achievements • Coordinated contract performance improvement, from a position of multiple written warnings, by pinpointing and resolving the top three areas of poor performance, leading to successful negotiation and the increase of the contract value, bringing a 3 year contract to 6.5 years. • Sustainably improved stop smoking service by harvesting best practices and testing emerging technologies, resulting in quit rate improvement from 38% in 2017 to 69% quit rate in 2020. • In response to the threat of team redundancy, I established innovative cost control solutions, including creation of sustainable remote based services with use of data insight, which slashed overheads by 30%, whilst ensuring the continuation of services. • Driving force for product innovation, service delivery design and pilot management: • E-Cigarette Pilot, London 2019 • A Change For The Better (MECC Tool) 2020
