Bio
Henrik Egesborg
I have enjoyed working with Daniel since February 2013 in Medtronic R&D Diabetes. Daniel joined us just after completing his education, and quickly more than satisfied our expectations as he took responsibility for all kinds of mechanical development tasks. Daniel is self-motivated, able to work independently and understands when to involve management. He developed micromechanical prototyping and testing solutions in collaboration with material scientists, chemists and optical engineers in our interdisciplinary team making professional use of tools like Solid Works and LabView. Daniel is liked by management and colleagues for his energy, helpfulness and enthusiasm. Daniel has a great career ahead of him and I can warmly recommend him to anybody needing a mechanical engineer on his/her team.

In short: Hire him if you can! Daniel has from day one demonstrated that he is an intelligent, responsible and very skilled person to an extent I have never seen before taking into account that he just recently graduated from the university. Daniel outmatches engineers with years of experience. His skills ranges from solid capability of CAD design, experimental work, over to operating machines in the workshop, Labview programming and an ability to take in new knowledge at his own initiative. One a personal level, I have enjoyed having Daniel in my team. He is a likeable person who never is the under-dog and yet treats his colleagues with respect.

R&D site consisting of 12 people with different areas of expertise my element is the mechanical engineering; manufacturing development, mechanical design, hardware design and software development. Responsibilities: - Mechanical and software design of manufacturing equipment. - Coordinated production of various items (milling, turning, 3D print etc.) - Design, construction and calibration of In-vitro test equipment. - Automation of various labor intensive processes. - Responsible for prototype production. From day one in Medtronic I have undertaken more responsibility each day, I’ve developed test stations from bottom to top, mechanical aspect as well the control software and calibration algorithms, which resulted in a rise in test capability by 400% I’ve developed manufacturing processes which made the sensor to sensor variation drop with 20% I’ve had a close collaboration with colleagues in Los Angeles and worked in Los Angeles multiple times for shorter periods of time. The DK R&D site is closing and I am currently in the process of transferring the technology to Los Angeles and will be relieved latest june 30. Show less

Poul Johansen Maskiner, is one of Denmark's leading manufacturer of semi / fully automatic production lines. My primary work was: - Design of a production line for Novo Nordisk in SolidWorks. - Develop competent solutions for handling issues. - Strength calculations and material selection. During my work at PJM I got familiar with the pharmaceutical industry since Novo is one of PJM's largest clients. I was involved in designing the production line for Novo Pen 4, where me at my colleague where responsible for the design of one of the four production modules. The experience gave me a great insight in the pharmaceutical industry and which materials are accepted for the strict requirements for handling medicinal products. Show less
