As Mentors Co-Chair, Danielle provided a supportive, encouraging environment for incoming Aggie Chemical Engineer sophomores to learn from their mentors and be confident with their major. Danielle was my go-to person at the retreat to check if everything is going fine. She is very mature, calm and collected. She focused on getting her task done, was there to assist anyone in the committee, and always had an unconventional, relevant, valuable input in discussions. I was and still am so glad that Danielle Fortune was chosen as Mentor Co-Chair for the 2016 AIChE Sophomore Retreat Committee by the 2015 Committee.
