I had the privilege of reporting to Dan when transitioning into a product management role and was impressed time and time again with his servant leadership style. Dan struck a rare chord of being an attentive listener, a pragmatic problem solver, and fierce advocate for the team. I consistently left our conversations motivated and with clear next steps. No matter how crazy his calendar was, he had the ability to make you feel like you were the only person in the room. It wasn't just talk (or listening) though. Dan also took to task rolling up his sleeves and worked alongside teams to block and tackle the big and small. It is impressive how much he was able to achieve in such a short amount of time. I learned a lot from Dan and truly believe that any team would be lucky to benefit from his leadership and wealth of product management experience.
