  In 2012 is my boek: “How to make things – a grade four reader” deur die Onderwysdepartement aanvaar en voorgeskryf vir die laerskoolsillabus vanaf 2012 vir graad vier leerders. Hierdie boek is in sewe verskillende tale vertaal en is geskryf om kreatiwiteit by laerskoolleerders te bevorder. In 2013 voltooi ek my Tydskrifjoernalistieke-kursus onderleiding van Liezl Heidtmann ('n ervare joernalis en tydskrifredakteur) en publiseer artikels in verskeie tydskrifte, onder andere in Weg, Go, Sarie, Salt Water Girl en TeenZone Magazine. Ek het die internasionale aanlyn-kinderboekkursus, “Write Storybooks for Children” asook “Greek and Roman Mythology”- ’n kursus wat deur die Universiteit van Pennsylvania aangebied word, in 2014 met lof geslaag.   Writing marketing material is an important part of my duties. I plan content and write copy for publications such as product brochures, sales leaflets, corporate brochures, annual reports for shareholders, newsletters and customer magazines. I am in charge of content for our website pages and scripts for presentations and videos. I am in charge of promoting the different services our company has to offer. The best part of my job is that I am responsible for all team building events and activities; volleyball tournaments, minute to win it games or even boat racing in the rain.   As a foreign teacher in Korea, I had the incredible opportunity to be a South African ambassador. I was appointed to teach English as a third language for grade one to grade six learners. According to me, a teacher should constantly generate fresh ideas, be well prepared and be able to evaluate and analyse impromptu situations before making well-informed decisions. During this term, in South Korea, I had the chance to investigate various educational systems and gained valuable experiences. I can proudly say that one of my initiatives regarding learning English with the help of animated films (to make the English language more accessible) was positively received and implemented in the school where I worked.
