      21c Museum Hotels is a multi-venue contemporary art museum, coupled with a boutique hotel and chef-driven restaurant. The Kansas City location opened in 2018. As part of the opening crew for the hotel, I helped breathe new life into the 1888 Savoy Hotel and Grill. Performed maintenance and repairs in specialized areas such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC. Cleaned and maintained all equipment and work areas. Documented all parts used and parts needed to be purchased. Reported any unsafe conditions to the Chief Engineer. Specific Responsibilities: Checked with Front Desk to make sure all guest issues have been resolved. Checked HVAC loop temperatures are at normal operating temperatures. Checked domestic hot water temperatures. Walked building daily looking for lights out and any obvious breakdowns, blemishes or other problems.
