  I was responsible for assisting with the daily activities of the HRDC Community Development program. The department works with communities to identify affordable housing, community facility, and programming needs and to create and implement strategies to meet those needs. This position assists department staff in day to day operations of the program, including but not limited to support with feasibility evaluation, proposal development, file maintenance, program evaluation, and other administrative and project oriented tasks.   I worked in the Planning Office of Columbus, Indiana, where I assisted with proposal reviews, site inspections, and daily administrative tasks. I also assisted with the development of an Urban Revitalization Plan, working with city staff, consultants and community leaders to improve socio-economic opportunity, housing diversity and urban aesthetic. Additionally, I was responsible for the development of land use and property attribute maps of the study area.
