These past years have been a breathless adventure, rich of continuos stimulus. Here I experienced a vision turning into reality. MPB, a minor Italian compounder, has become an Italian, European leader, 2nd worldwide player in our core business: steel pipe coating. We produce polyolefin based products suitable to coat steel pipes used for OIL & GAS & WATER pipelines worldwide. We are the major supplier of Nord Stream I - II, Opal, Nel. We supplied (Gazprom-Snam) Blue Stream Russian side, (Shell) Sakhalin I - II, (BP Exploration) Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan, (Sonatrach) MedGaz and plenty of other pipeline projects. We solidly set strategic synergy up with some petrochemicals. Still we have a lot to do, a lot to explore. In these very days we are incessantly working to get new ideas into reality, we have a new challange: the speciality products as MAH-g- products to be used as tie-layer, as compatibiliser, as bonding agent. ...more has to come... Interesting experience especially in the days that it was Neste OY, the most delightful times. Still I have friends, ex-colleagues who also left Borealis (or Borouge), all around the world, that were/still are good professionists, and today some of them are even my precious business partners! Great team the Italian one at those past days. In Borealis I learnt that keeping humble, focused, and with the attidute of "never-giving-up no-matter-what" brings the results you aimed for. I like to think about Borealis as my placenta where as a foetus I was growing in specific knowledge. My hungry for competence and direct experience 'on field' grew over these 10 years turning me out just well ready for the great challange in MPB Show less

Beyond anyone expectation, by assisting the MD, I learnt what a vision is and how to pursue it with unbeatable, unprecedent dedication in the day-to-day job. The uncommon talented MD/shareholder coatched me by his example in such a way throughout those unforgettable five years, that still today he is inspiring my daily work. His words still are my drives. His brother, shareholder as well, was an example of dedication, honesty and self-sacrifice for the company.
