To Whom it May Concern, I've have known Dana Holzberger for close to 12 years now, and have had the pleasure of working with and for Dana directly over the past three years. I joined the Franchise Support team at Applebee's Services Inc. and worked on a team with Dana for the first year. During that year I found Dana to be the consummate team player helping me transition into my role as Franchise Business Consultant. Her guidance and leadership helped me overcome the obstacles faced with acclimating to my new role with the company. Within in two years after I joined the company Dana was promoted to a Regional Director position where she became my direct supervisor along with a team of 6 others. During the year and half of working for her in a subordinate role I found that her leadership skills continued, actually even escalated, providing a great environment for our team to function collaboratively and productively. She consistently provided the right level of direction while also leaving us with the autonomy to drive and deliver results in a manner that suited the diverse levels of experience and personalities of everyone on the team. She was always available to provide direction and support when needed. She effectively communicated directives that came from her leaders and engaged our team for input and solutions on completing those directives as well as the many responsibilities of each of our positions. Her commitment and loyalty to the members of her team as well as the success of the brand was immeasurable.
