Write work permits, shift logs, equipment breakdown reports, and management of change orders. Interface with contractors for shutdown operations and new construction. Train new employees in the operation of the distributed control systems. Fire brigade member, test and operate emergency alarms, coordinate with local officials in real-time Incident Command System events. Control vapor recovery units, including low and high-pressure flare systems. Prepare and implement safety training meetings. Communicate effectively via radio with all outside refinery personnel. Initiate equipment performance testing and draft associated reports.
