My brother and I started The Thirsty Farrier Mobile Bar Company in October 2019 because of our passion for people and parties! We support Weddings, Birthdays, Garden Parties and Corporate events in-person with our range of mobile bars, or virtually through our Virtual Cocktail Masterclasses! With the team currently being made up of just us two, we wear a variety of hats to ensure the business runs properly. From Social Media management to Sales, and Package Ideation to Logistics, anything that has needed to be done we have learned and executed. With this business, I have learned Social Media management and Sales skills, Virtual Presentation skills as well as tenacity, fast-thinking and general business acumen. We have had to overcome in-foreseen circumstances and obstacles, and continued to grow to get a small start-up business off the ground.

I helped to run the Operations, Sales and Events for a Building of 2,300 members with over 300 companies. As a Community Lead i managed all of the accounts on 2 floors of the building and work closely with members to ensure that the workspace is meeting all of their business needs. I fostered community within the building to ensure that members all are happy which, in turn, means less sick days and higher productivity for their companies. I shadowed two Strength and Conditioning coaches for three months, learning about how they trained, tested and monitored their sailors. I also conducted studies with the sailors to test the difference in power output and the fatigue index in grinding whilst kneeling and standing so that the company could use this data, with data on aerodynamics, to know when the sailors should kneel or stand in race situations. • Sports Massage Therapist
      • Jan 2016 - May 2016

I worked as the unofficial Sports Massage Therapist for the University of Portsmouth Men's Rugby Club during my final 5 months of university. This involved players approaching me with injuries or problems they had picked up through the season or training. After they had been seen by a physiotherapist for an official diagnosis, I treated them using various massage techniques as well as advising them on stretching and resistance work to aid their recovery.
