      As part of my MEng degree, I completed a 12 month placement as a Process Engineer in the metrology department at Seagate Springtown. I was part of a small team that managed several high throughput toolsets that performed thin film measurements using ellipsometry. Duties in this role included identifying and analysing the root cause of process variations using a variety of statistical process control techniques. Additionally, I developed, validated and implemented new film stack models for use in production.
