I worked as a chassis fabricator building drag race cars and the primary rearend housing fabricator. I am proficient with TIG welding on many different materials including stainless and mild steel, 4130 chromoly and aluminum. I build most of our company’s fabricated 9 inch housings for use in drag racing, and our Rockwell 106 and 20-145 housings for tractor pulling. I can build headers and turbo piping along with all types of roll cages intended for certification, and for show. I have experience with full car wiring, electronics installation, plumbing, along with limited experience in sheet metal tinwork and bead rolling, as well as limited machining experience on metal lathes and upright (Bridgeport) mills. Parts Manager

Sep 2016 - Jan 2019
I hired in as a parts sales and customer service representative, and was quickly promoted to a parts sales manager within my first year of employment. Responsibilities included customer service and satisfaction, inventory management, handling transactions and managing a small sales team. I was also responsible for opening and closing the store, as well as assisting our commercial manager and his commercial clients with the right parts for the job. I was hired in as general shop hand, with responsibilities including shop cleanup, washing customer vehicles, and delivering them after service, as well as shuttling customers too and from the shop. My role quickly grew into more of an apprentice position, learning and assisting the technicians with service work on the very wide variety of vehicles we serviced. This summer’s experience in a real shop environment proved invaluable when I began studying at UNOH that fall.
