  Over the last year, I have been kindly given the opportunity to work as a Resource Teacher in St. Conleth’s Community College, which I am grateful for as I feel the experience has been invaluable both personally and professionally. During this time I have been Team Teaching in Junior Cycle Geography, Maths and English, provided classroom management and support and worked one to one with students with AEN. I taught Literacy Skills (using the NBSS Adapted Vocabulary Enrichment and Accelerated Reader Programmes) and the Artistic Performance short course where my students held their own photography exhibition and created short films. I have also participated in 2nd and 3rd Year Junior Cycle CBAs in Art, Craft and Design and provided one to one Learning Support to students in Art and other subjects and a Reader in Junior Cert Mocks for students with AEN. In addition, I have taught I.T. and Art in the school’s Cherry Unit for students with SEN. I am also trained as a Check and Connect mentor. Show less
