I was fortunate to begin working with Dan as I transitioned from individual contributor to sales leadership 3 years ago. Dan quickly became a valuable resource. Under his guidance and support, I restructured the North American team’s account segmentation, implemented a process for organic team growth via the addition of an inside sales arm, and implemented countless other process improvements to the global commercial organization. As I compare results relative to those improvements, most notable are a team sales conversion rate of 58% (improved from 33%) and YOY sales target overachievement for the last 3 years. Dan was also a valuable resource and SME as our company implemented a CRM system in 2020. Dan provided additional perspectives of how to manage our commercial data and helped us understand alternative ways of looking at our data to drive performance, accountability, and accurate projections. While there are many intangibles, the most impactful for me personally has been his perspective. He has afforded me the opportunity to lean on his lessons-learned, wins and losses, as I navigate my own. He has taught me the importance of emotional intelligence as I navigate the challenges that high visibility roles bring, and he has helped me navigate changes in management that are inevitable for all organizations. Over the countless discussions we have had, there are a few consistencies in terms of value I can confidently say you can expect Dan to bring: an outside perspective that isn’t aimed to convince you, but rather to provide additional considerations for you to ultimately make your own decisions; a constant emphasis on improving your relationship building and emotional intelligence; and a simplified way of explaining complex ideas and process.

Dan’s coaching has been invaluable as I continue to progress in my career, from starting fresh in a new field, to developing a plan to grow local and global accounts in a multinational company. His wealth of knowledge and business experience make him very effective at assisting me with any issues. Dan has an uncanny ability to assess me within the situations we discuss and offer a fresh perspective and effective guidance.
