Matt Blackmore
I've worked with Dan at two different companies in the last 6+ years and always knew he was a brilliant CTO. Now reporting directly to him, I have more recently come to realize that he is also a tremendous manager. He can be counted on to give thoughtful insight and direction and is always looking for ways to improve every part of the business. Everyone who has worked with Dan knows that he can build almost anything you can think of from the ground up. His talents reach far beyond building complex consumer-facing products, internal tools and reporting. He has a business savvy that is very rare in a CTO and an ability to gather multiple viewpoints and make well thought out business-critical decisions. If I was to start any new business venture, Dan would be the first person I'd build that business around.
Isabel Sopoglian
I worked with Dan for five years and he was not only a talented VP of Technology who was able to build his department from a one-man shop to a very efficient and productive team that took care of website and tool development, as well as creating a solid technical network architecture but he also had great input on business development and process solutions. He was highly regarded by his employees and peers, especially because he never hesitated to help out with programming tasks to build our systems when resources where limited. He is the perfect person to hire if you are planning on taking your start-up company to the next level.
