  I’m an engineering technician within Energy NZ. A Registered Electrician with 20 years practical experience in domestic, commercial and industrial fields. I’m also a certified Infrared Thermographer and Ultrasound Technician. I specialise in industrial efficiency projects, making non-intrusive electrical data loggings, compressed air flow loggings and temperature data loggings in order to measure energy use on site and generate an Energy Balance, as well as conducting thermal imaging and compressed air leak detection to locate and quantify sources of energy wastage on site. I have undertaken Level 1, 2 and 3 AS/NZS 3598:2000 Energy Audits. Daniel is also skilled in power quality audits and the investigation and design of energy efficiency improvements for all industrial and commercial applications. I have a large amount of experience in infrared surveys of electrical distribution boards and control panels.
