The grant seeks to provide education and training to under- and unemployed workers in the theory and practice of advanced manufacturing concepts. By working directly with local technical centers, economic development councils, local recruiting agencies, and job centers the position seeks to develop interest in careers in manufacturing and to provide pathways to employment to students upon program completion.
