We use freelance designers all the time for all sorts of projects. However, we had a particularly difficult project come up that required a special kind of designer. First, it was a massive project involving the development of nearly 70 transit maps, the deadline was tight and we needed someone who was more than just a graphic designer, but a thinker with a good technical mind. Dan was definitely the right man for this job, and truly a lot of other designers we have used could not have handled it. Dan has great instincts, makes good suggestions for ways to handle various problems that arise, yet in spite of his independent, self-motivating approach, he takes direction very well. He is highly cooperative and works well as a part of a team. Dan handled whatever I threw at him without complaint and was entirely dedicated to doing whatever it took to get the project done on time and in budget. When the client blew the deadline on their end, Dan kept at it, working weeks past the original timeframe of the project to finish everything we had set out to do. I will gladly work with him again and happily recommend him to anyone looking for a highly skilled and very dedicated designer. It was a pleasure working with you, Dan. I look forward to our next collaboration!

Dan McCormick is the brains behind my marvelous new company logo and website! He had amazing creative ideas for developing and implementing my website. Most importantly, he was patient with me and took his time ensuring that I was completely satisfied before we proceeded further. His vision includes the minute details that pull everything together. I honestly don’t know how I could have done this without anyone but him. I can’t wait to use him in other ventures.

My company was in need of a fresh look through new graphic design. I approached Dan to create a new logo and company website. In addition to providing me with several options, Dan provided rational and sound guidance for the options he presented. Dan was diligent about researching my company and developed a website which exceeded my expectations. His work is prompt with a quick turnaround time. Dan truly became a strategic partner in building my company's success.

Every project I do is custom crafted for each client. If you’re in the market for personal attention from an experienced designer with lots of agency experience read on.I create logos, illustrations, charts, brochures, newsletters, packaging, signage, web sites and more. Please take a look at my portfolio. My experience ranges from large national brands to Mom and Pop start-ups and everything in between. Why Head Tilt? The inspiration came from our pug, Bandit who is featured in the new logo. Ever wondered why dogs tilt their heads? It's so they can listen better. Great design starts with asking the right questions and building the partnership. I take the time to understand your goals. My goals are your goals.
