Building Inspection Summer Student

Apr 2018 - Aug 2018
Worked directly under the Chief Building Official for the City of Orillia. I was responsible for the review process and inspections of all detached garages and decks. The review process involves ensuring all plan specifications are up to the requirements of the OBC and the municipality, as well as making changes when necessary. The inspection process is a multi staged on-site review of built components, demanding the quality of work was up to code. Worked directly under the Chief Building Official for the City of Orillia. I was in charge of organizing and implementing practices for all youth house league teams. This ranged from 4 years to 14 and consisted of creating practice plans for 150 of the 300 players to use one field at the same time. There were two sessions so that all players got field time on the same days. A complex system of station orientation along with teaching and placing the coaches was required I was in charge of organizing and implementing practices for all youth house league teams.
