Provide leadership and management of a Illinois Association of Park Districts Distinguished Accredited Agency that serves the diverse needs of a 21,500 resident community. Work closely with and serve a five member elected Board of Commissioners. The Cary Park District has a $10 million budget annually and is made up of 46 park sites consisting of 860+ acres of property. Agency facilities include the Foxford Hills Golf Club, an 18 hole 7100 yard golf course, a pool, community center, dog park and preschool. The staff consists of 24 full time employees and over 200 additional individuals are employed by the agency annually. Additional experience includes planning and implementing capital improvement projects; communicating agency message in a public forum; and developing cooperative relationships with other governmental entities.
