At Somerset Industries, I am highly valued as a core member of the engineering team helping to advance the ever-evolving restaurant industry. I have been responsible for the continued progression of new product development as well as overseeing the maintenance and improvement of current products. As the Lead Design Engineer, I am trusted to bring products through the entire design process myself - everything from rough conceptualizing for the initial design requirements to assembling the first prototypes to ensure proper function. I enjoy being depended on to provide a finished product that will be a fixture in the kitchens of international food chains as well as local bakeries and eateries. Before it ceased due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I also oversaw the company's Engineering Intern program. We introduced a few vocational highschool students to our team to aid me in my projects and, at the same time, teach them valuable skills that they can use later in their careers. Show less
