I’m primary support for two business units and part of a team that supports many more across the company. Duties include maintenance of instances and databases, code review, code development for ETL, automation and testing (using SSIS, Powershell and T-SQL) and participation in development teams using the Agile methodology. As the primary SQL Server DBA and secondary support for Oracle, I was responsible for maintaining the campus wide SQL Server environment and assisting with support for the campus wide Oracle environment.
