May 2005 - Jul 2012
I started in the internet sales dept. maintaining the website and online inventory. I then progressed to the service dept. becoming a service consultant. I handled all internal services related to used vehicles, PDI’s and due bills, while maintaining consistently high CSI scores of 85%-100%. I was then moved to the vehicle accessory center. In this new profit center, I assisted clients in customizing their vehicles to suit their needs. I performed a 10 week internship in the parts dept., learning all of the daily operations. I was then promoted to Warranty Administrator where I monitored and submitted all warranty repair claims, reconciled factory credits and worked with factory personnel to resolve disputes or unusual circumstances. I performed duties as backup shop dispatcher/foreman and I.T. support when needed. My final position was as Service Manager. I worked with the Parts Manager to plan and implement a fixed operations performance improvement strategy. I developed service maintenance menus and seasonal promotions. I supervised a 25 person department including service consultants, technicians, lot porters, detailers, and warranty clerk. I monitored and controlled department expenses to help maximize gross profit. I directly addressed and resolved any customer concerns to maintain satisfaction.
