I also developed process mapping for the dealership and held weekly meetings with all sales, service and parts staff to interact and gain ideas to improve overall customer satisfaction. Process mapping was adopted and used throughout the company and was highly successful in improving sales and service customer relations and also employee relations. Employee input lead to multiple process changes that not only improved how we did things for our customers but lead to decreased costs and increased profits. Employees were engaged and felt a part of the company because their input was not only asked for but in many cases used to make changes. Employee turnover decreased leading to cost savings and job satisfaction increased leading to higher job performance which in turn lead to dramatic increases in customer CSI scores and sales.
