Performs employee investigations, offers recommendations for resolution and assists with all aspects of human resources and personnel matters including but not limited to hiring, evaluation, accommodations/leaves, discipline and termination.Acts as hearing officer for employee termination hearings pursuant to Civil Service Law §§71, 73 & 75. Also serves as hearing officer for student disciplinary proceedings pursuant to NYS Education Law §3214.Provides representation to school districts in termination hearings pursuant to Civil Service Law §75.Routinely provides professional development training and presents on a wide variety of Human Resources, Labor and Employment, and Education Law topics.
