Dan has great knowledge of biodiversity net gain, particularly the metrics, and the importance of an integrated approach to development design to incorporate biodiversity features from the outset. He has previous experience of working for local planning authorities and record centres.

Sam Cartwright

I've known Dan for well over a decade and have collaborated with him during his time at TVERC when he led on the early phase of Berkshire's Nature Recovery Network. Dan was the first person I had in mind when I needed an expert in BNG to deliver a webinar explaining this topic to local authority staff and councillors. Dan gave a clear, relevant and engaging presentation, and capably answered many questions from the floor. I'd not hesitate to call on Dan's expertise again and look forward to working with him again in future.
