  Dan is the sole Trustee of the Music Performance Trust Fund. The MPTF provides grants for the sponsoring or co-sponsoring of free live music events throughout the U.S. and Canada. MPTF participated in over 2,500 such events this past year in parks, theaters, hospitals, and schools, partnering with municipal governments, arts councils, symphonies, and various other community based organizations to expand the public enjoyment of music performed by professional musicians. Due to COVID-19, the MPTF initiated a live streaming platform that delivered over 850 performances, keeping musicians working during an extremely difficult economic time period.
