Investment has been made across many industrial sectors, which has stimulated the Ready-Made Garment Industry as one of the key industry chosen. UNIDO, with a proven track record for the implementation of large industrial projects, has been appointed to provide technical assistance for the development of various industrial clusters and provide further support by assisting the integration into global value chains. At the initial stage, UNIDO experts performed a study of the Lahore Ready Made Garment Industry and one finding was the need to establish a Ready Made Garment Design Studio that can provide sustainable Design, Technical, Training and Marketing Assistance to the Cluster Participants, with the aim of improving overall international competitiveness and grow export revenues.
