  Welbeck Land are one of the most successful strategic land companies in the country and we are currently managing over £120m of institutional funds and PE invested in strategic land. A new investment partnership was established Oct 2021 and we are currently investing that capital on suitable opportunities. Responsible for the deployment of capital on new opportunities, principally by way of promotion agreements or freehold acquisitions, and then managing the projects through the planning system and eventual onward sale to developers for implementation. Currently managing major residential led schemes across the southeast ranging in size from 50 dwellings up to 3,000 homes in sustainable new settlements. My preferred approach is to promote sites through the Local Plan process and to pro-actively engage in that process. Currently responsible for over 15 live projects with recent highlights including:- Promotion of a new market town of approx. 3,000 new homes in West Sussex. Currently at Reg 18. - Promotion of a new market town of approx. 3,250 new homes in East Sussex. Currently at Reg 18.- Securing an allocation in June 2022 for 550 new homes, a care village and supporting infrastructure (incl. new primary school) in East Grinstead. A planning application is being prepared.- After working with the Neighbourhood Plan steering committee secured an allocation in the ‘made’ Henfield Neighbourhood Plan for approx. 220 dwellings. A planning application has been submitted. - Secured planning consent for 300 new homes in Hailsham in 2020. The site has been sold to a developer.- Successfully secured an allocation in the ‘made’ Storrington Neighbourhood Plan and then obtained planning consent for 65 homes. Sold to a developer in 2021.- Secured planning permission Spring 2022 for 75 dwellings, via appeal, in West Wittering. - In JV with a high-end provider of retirement villages preparing a planning application for approx. 150 home care community in East Herts.
