      In my role I managed all internal and external communications for Cheshire FA. I managed a team of interns to deliver marketing across all areas of the business. Whilst overseeing all social media channels, the website and an app that we developed. I implemented a monthly online newsletter that developed into a quarterly e-magazine, I coordinated 3 successful award evenings as well as producing the first marketing package offer for grassroots clubs and leagues in the country. I created brand guidelines for all aspects of communication across the business and I implemented the use of a social media engine to quality check any communication across social media. I managed a budget, researched marketing methods, analysed data, tracked campaigns and planned all marketing campaigns for the business. Since beginning the role Cheshire FA’s social media followers increased by over 5,000 people, whilst the website saw an increase in traffic, and the customer perception of the County FA improved. As part of my role I developed the website through support from The FA, and I sat on a national working group supporting other county FA’s with their websites including training. I also created a balance scorecard for the company that I regularly updated and analysed the data trends.

      I was the county lead on the new player registration system designed by the FA. I worked closely with all Cheshire Leagues and Clubs to ensure that everybody had the most out of the system. Through this I helped bring in over 10,000 members that we didn’t currently have on our database. I was also an officer in compliance and regulations, dealing with discipline cases, league sanctioning (in which I was the lead) and the affiliation process.I worked with the football development team to ensure that all data was correct across the county. I worked closely with the county welfare officer to ensure that all coaches and clubs complied with FA Safeguarding measures.I was trained on The FA’s Whole Game CRM System, and with that I developed a training programme for clubs and leagues to learn how to use their version - the Whole Game Portal. I was also trained to use the County Administration System, the FA’s Coach education system - Participant and a number of other software packages.

      I worked alongside the Community Programme to promote the clubs events such as children’s parties and soccer camps. I attended the events and I worked as a photographer.
