Philippe le Bac is a French-based company specializing in the domain of cashmere garments and which first set shop in China a few years back and has now expanded throughout various locations within the country. It brings forward European craftsmanship and style to this part of Asia and prides itself in only using the best of the best in terms of raw materials, sourcing its precious cashmere from green sources and abiding by the strictest quality controls. The company aimed to making its products more readily available and for that purpose created an online platform for retail. My task was to aide the development and promotion of this online shop. This implied various tasks such as creating content for the website and setting an online presence for the brand on various local social media.Although my time at the company was brief, it was a great opportunity to observe how such a business operates and also to further my skills in some specific domains which I never thought I would entertain in this position. It was full of surprises and in this manner all my thanks goes for the great support that my peers at Philippe le Bac provided.
