I had the pleasure to meet Damianos as a student at the University of Ioannina a few years ago. I have only good words to write about Damianos' work as a student. He was a hard working undergraduate, always willing to learn new things. He was a skillful person, and his main advantage was the ability to lead other people in good and quality work. Apart from his skills as a student, I had the pleasure to realise his excellent character, and nice personality. He was well aware of the social and professional aspects of his work as a prospective environmental scientist, showing maturity and smartness on these issues. I strongly endorce him for any work on his field.
