Very active in obtaining large HUD and state NC Housing grants to expand and improve local Allied Churches Homeless Shelter. Helped to fund and establish new Drop In Center for Homeless People. Helped to secure HUD housing voucher funds. Presented to public groups to request support for ACICHA, i.e. County Commissioners.
