I implemented many of the recommendations during my employment with Squirrel. Some highlights of my time with Squirrel include: - Managed a team of 12 developers which worked on an embedded Linux system, C++ and C# system back-end, and Java based terminal front end for a Point of Sales System - Managed a team of 5 professional services consultants and 5 external contractors as part of the Professional Services team - Directly worked with customers for the Professional services team and worked to provide them customized versions of our Point of Sales system in a timely period which was also cost effective - Provided project management for larger releases for multi-unit chain roll outs of products for both Professional Services and the Core Software product - Worked with developers on implementation of development best practices, such as code reviews, unit testing and agile development - Implemented regular employee one on ones with staff to provide constructive feedback sooner and listen to staff concerns - Built professional development plans with staff to help them achieve their career goals - Attended executive meetings to provide status reports and work on the company road-map - Responded to client Request for Information and Request for Proposal requests - Implemented a peer mentoring framework for more junior staff which partnered senior staff with newer staff - Implemented Risk Mitigation strategies Show less
