I have had the good fortune and pleasure of working with Dale over a number of years. Firstly we were both working as Stream Leaders on the implementation of a new ERP system. I found Dale to be focused on the objectives for both his own Sales stream, but also showed great understanding and support for the associated streams and the need for all of the team to succeed if the project was to succeed. After the very successful implementation of the system Dale became the Customer Service Manager and I became one of his direct reports. Again I found Dale to be very personable, supportive, insightful and knowledgeable regarding both the needs of the business and the team. I therefore have no hesitation in recommending Dale as a highly skilled and effective leader and team player.

I worked with Dale on a few projects at Lafarge Cement, including a customer experience programme and management reporting tool implementation. Dale is always well-informed on his topic/brief and shares his knowledge readily. What always strikes me about Dale is that he always addresses the issues at hand in a straight-forward and accurate fashion - if Dale doesn't know, he finds out. Dale is adept at working in a project team and seems to have mastered the skills of speaking up on critical points, but listening and adapting his approach when the situation calls for it (skills are vital for project success, in my view). In summary, Dale was often the "go-to" person for a range of topics, whether within a project or in day-to-day operations. Finally, Dale is a good guy and always a pleasure to spend time with.
