As Diesel Service Program Coordinator, my duties were to Maintain good relationships with our customers, (The Students) and our supporters (Industry). Write curriculum and update curriculum, and assessments. I have developed and implemented 90% of Baker College of Owosso’s Diesel Service Program curriculum. Coordinate with all Instructors as to what is needed in their classes, such as parts, equipment, tools, etc... Act as Service Manager to procure live work for our classes, including ordering and running for parts and equipment if needed. Make sure that live work is done properly and returned to the customer promptly, and make sure all repair orders and billing are done properly. Design labs that all instructors can use to enhance student learning. Procure training parts, including but not limited to, Engines, Transmissions, vehicles, tires, brake chambers, hydraulic components, etc… Keep good relations with existing supporters of our programs and work on building new relationships with possible supporters. Participate in SPC meetings and assignments. Instruct classes and all that goes with it, daily lecture, labs, quizzes, test, and assessments. Stay current and promote all professional certificates.
